Is this tempering plague my fault?

this temper lives inside me,
it grows in you too,
is it my fault you're like this?
am i influencing you?
runny into your room,
on the stairs you screemed "YOU COW!"
but i guess you could say that it's lucky,
it wasn't a huge row!
in your room you cried,
and told me what was wrong,
you said you hated that "*****",
you said you wanted her "GONE!"
then there's the christmas present,
Sue gave you last year,
you said you wanted to smash it,
my past memories appeared.
the first time you tried it,
by smacking it on the wall,
the second time you snapped it,
into only, two pieces, THAT'S ALL!
mum came in, wanted to know what was wrong,
wanted to know what happened,
i went out the room,
let you two get on with it,
but inside,
i think it's my fault...!
IT HAPPENED!
