IS THIS THE CIRCLE OF LIFE?

The time is 8:30 AM, Omelets cooked and coffee brewed, So much cussing in the dirty traffic, Reckless driving, And work Oh all that work! Lots of time for practical planning, Yet no oneno one noticed, The welcome fiesta, Of the first apple blossoms,
Life and death, The final frontiers, And the distance between them, With crooked barriers, Galaxies of thoughts, Experiences by man, Cover the magnus oceans, And the mighty land, A race of trial and error,
The victory of revolution, And genetic engineering, Precious hours spent, Yet no oneno one wants to lend, A moment to enjoy a baby chuckle The power of the encephalon! Complex equations, wild calculations, Splitting of the atom, Strides in the field of war and science!
And no one wants to stroll by a bubbling stream, Dare I say? There is asperity in your eyes, And yes of course, That strange remorse, Like a tired greedy merchant, Yes I know you can see and so can I, The funeral of a broken heart, Love and joy the pallbearers,
Humor, laughter the prime mourners, And the ghost of a right, The right to be wrongfollows, With a cracked hour glass, Holding sands of time unspent on love, Leaving the world of an intellectual giant, Where there is reason, no emotion, Where there is opportunity, no devotion, Yes there is a procession leading, Into oblivion Away from the games of the cynical man.

For all intense purposes cynicalness is baloney. Read "Walking in the woods" Maybe my comment is too harsh, but I love nature and life. Cynicalness happens when you give up on life and lose sight of your dreams. It is never worth it to do that.
"I would rather have the pain of losing love
than the vow to never love again.
I would rather have fake kisses and fake hugs
than the isolation of a broken man." |
