Games played and forgotten,
The last act, O brilliant sycophant,
You selected me form the audience,
Scarred my face with your jagged knife,
And then put me up on a burning stake,
Another star, another prey!
Angered and depleted,
Weakened and exhausted,
I shall scream in your ear,
Till my throat bleeds,
That I am hurt, injured,
Abandoned to core,
Left alone in the desert,
Like a naked nomad,
With no soul,
For I gave it to you,
Yes I gave you every thing,
Now I have been penalized,
And charged by your court of law,
For lies you spoke and I believed,
Im cracked and broken,
And I am shaken,
For the book has ended,
Before its time,
With an ending only you wanted,
And you crushed my dreams,
As you walked off stage,
With that brilliant spotlight over your head,
Shimmering, glimmering,
Your last act,
Well markedwell timed,
Alas I was never applauding.
