We should talk sometime, You know, make it one of those Accidentally on purpose Kind of things, like acquaintances Who haven't crossed paths For some time, for no reason In particular, say hello, You in a hurry, no, Not at the moment, Mind if I join you, please, Sit down, the coffee here Is pretty good, you're looking Pretty good yourself, thank you, You, too, so tell me, It seems like forever, The last time I saw you, So tell me, throughout This eternity, tell me, How has it been?

How this is so true... Yet we accept in ourselves that life becomes so busy, we forget those from time to time friends, some times we even let them slip right away, who knows, they could be the best firiend we avaer had. A sensational true to life poem. I certainly will be reading this again...
Cheers,

I liked this poem! Sometimes with the pace we're living we don't realise that we're always in a hurry and forget to stop and have a converstion (real one) with those who we love. Great write!

I am retired now, but have since wondered why I let the hands of a clock become more important to me than people and feelings. Seems now, a very odd thing to do. I guess life goes on in spite of us. But, gosh, we lose a lot living by the clock. This is a great write. Rita |
