Static

Everywhere I walk, I see
The people walking right by me.
Everywhere I go, I hear
That stupid buzzing in my ear.
Every time I speak, I feel
That its just time I have to kill.
And every time I want, I think
That nothings changed inside of me.

Feet glued on the ground, now stick around, its time, its static.
Try to move around, were all stuck, smile, its static.
Kiss the girl goodbye, take a drive, nowhere, its static.
Go on, take a swing, watch TV, slobber, its static.

Every time we kiss, I want
To go and cut my balls right off.
Every piece of food I eat,
I think its someone elses meat.
In every child I can see,
A failure staring back at me.
Every time I watch the news,
I think of social angst, like blues.

Drunken undertones, chromosomes, detox, its static.
Morning funeral, midnight prayer, caffeine, its static.
Building a snowman, feed the ducks, flirting, its static.
Rousing all my peers, look at stars, munchies, its static.

Moving is no good, why stand still, karma, its static.
Social compliance, its a fad, bubbles, its static.
Ever more the same, still theres hope, somewhere, its static.
Lifetime to feel loved, look around, happy, its static.
