the darkness creeps up unexpectedly
cripping me by the heart
feeling my head with unwanted thoughts
i refuse to give in
i refuse to give up
all that ive been working so hard to get
i wont go back to how i was
i wont give in to the darkness again
i will not listen
to the depressing thoughts
that this darkness keeps
placeing within my brain
think happy
i continue to tell myself
smile and forget
that the darkness
is lingering so close by
haunting me
watching me
waiting for the perfect
time to capure me in its web of lies
and unwanted thoughts
im happier now then ever before
and i refuse to give up all of this
all that ive worked so hard for
i will not give in to you
i refuse
so keep lingering there
in my shadow
keep staulking me from behind each tree
but it wont help
i am not giving in to you at all.
now go!
