NEVER EVER GIVE UP

Life is a constant battle,
a persistent struggle.
Birth day starts our wondering, our searching,
with meaning, understanding with trouble!
If we are fortunate enough to have
wonderful caregivers.
We can be enlightened with their guidance,
molding our minds, hearts, and souls
as our steady anchors.
But what of us, that never had the guidance?
Where do we go to find the answers
for our balance?
"Experience" is the best teacher many relate.
Unfortunately it's heavy weight could bog us
down before we are able to walk
the road straight!
All the more reason to never ever give up......
for on the outside we appear
to be wasting away, yet, on the inside
we are being renewed each day!
We weather a storm, that gives us courage...
to face the next one that comes along.
We renew our resolve, determination,
persistence, we are growing on the
inside to be very strong!
One must remember never to let go of love.
It's all up to you what you will allow.
Promise your heart and soul you will never
stoop so low, that love will not be your vow!
Even in old age....guard the love you renewed
every day over and over again.
Cultivate carefully, but not sparingly, practice
loving others, unselfishly, helping you
to be your very best friend!
You will always be your best friend,
for what you do to others,
you do to yourself also.
If you practice high regard for yourself,
and dignity for you....it's impossible to lose
when tested with sorrow.
Be of strong heart, brave and steadfast!
Never ever give up, no matter
how hard the test, be determined,
no matter how heavy the task!
AND,
NEVER EVER FORGET TO PRAY!
