Suicide of the Mind #1

Contributed by Disenchanted_Poet on Monday, 2nd February 2004 @ 11:37:53 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

nawing away at all my brain cells

eeping up a high pitched yell

nots forming in every which way

nowing something will happen today

try to keep these thoughts from my mind

nstead of darkness, my thoughts just shined

solation just made my problems worse

f I don't get away, I'm going to burst

ove was so good, yet is was taken away

eaving me alone in this place to stay

iving I heard was all fun and bliss

ord, what the hell do you call this?

ost from the world I have found myself

eft away from the others on this high-up shelf

ooking for some other way to get out

istening to the voices inside my head shout

aybe my life here was not meant to be

eaning of life was not meant for me

aking all this pain leave me has only one price

y life for my death, call it a sacrifice

veryone tries to tell me which path is right

ven though my interests are not in sight

ventually they will see it is for the best

verything goes dark as my soul sets to rest...
