Hes made his decision
As best he could
Hes ended our union
Due to my falsehood
Who can blame him?
Certainly not me
The future looks grim
The reasons plain to see
Hes a wonderful man
Who deserves so much more
With him, someone will stand
Someone whos pure
The most I can hope for
Is sometime far off
Hell not think me a whore
And not sneer and scoff
Maybe hell remember
A time before the mess
Prior to the blunders
Earlier than our first caress
At first we were friends
With so much to share
I cant make amends
But Ill always care
One day will come
When the wounds arent so new
Whether dark times or fun
Ill be there for you

| Don't know why you haven't had comments on this one, but I like it. Plainly spoken and to the point. I know what you mean about being with someone that you feel deserves better than yourself also... |
