I always like soccer
best
you can play with different people
from different towns
and make new friends
and work hard
and excersize
and still have lots of
fun
and when you win it
feels so good
and when you lose
it's such a big
deal
but through all the
hard work, dedication
sweat, tears, and joy
you still have
those remaining friends
with the same dream
and so you play
and dream on.

| I love the poem..though one thing now..don't take this the wrong way...the sport is called FOOTBALL. Football, honest. I should know, I grew up ten miles from where it was first played! |
