Living in the Moment

Topic: InspirationalPoems

Whoever you are and wherever you are now
Take a break of what they call life
and just breathe.

Wear that nice red dress or nice new shirt
that you usually wear to somewhere fancy
to somewhere like the shops.
Just because you can.
Go back to being a kid
(even if its just for today)
and jump in puddles with your most expensive shoes
because you grow out of shoes
you dont grow out of memories.
Tell people how you feel
whether you think its embarrassing or not
because they might not be around tomorrow.
A life of regret is far worse then one of rejection
because at least with rejection
you recieved an answer.
They say first impressions last
so take the time to leave your mark.
Go for that job with confidence.
You never get a second chance....
to make a first impression.
Be who you want to be and go where u want to go
just do what you want to do
living your dreams is what its all about.
Instead of singing when there's nobody around
sing when your around people.
You may think its silly
but whats so silly about making people smile?
Making people laugh?
(even if their laughing at you)
They will go home to tell a wife
a husband,daughter or son
of what they saw someone do...
who will also smile.
They will remember you.

Embrace life.

Hold onto memories.
Dont be scared of the unknown
for the unknown
makes life a mystery.
An interesting voyage.
A journey rememberd.
Pour your heart out to someone
someone whos done the same with you.
You will automatically build up a friendship.
A trust.
A bond.
Paint your house bright colours
or paint a picture on your walls
have a change of scenery
It's amazing what a change can do.
Hug someone and tell them you love them.
Make somebody smile
if you can accomplish a smile from one person
everyday or every week
You're a good person and say that to yourself..
know it.
Share feelings and get involved in issues
state your thoughts and your views
but dont get caught up in it.
Wordly issues rip things apart,
The beautiful things in life...
are meant to stay complete.
Dont be scared to ask Questions.
Everywhere you go
in everyday of your life
listen closely...
You will hear questions being asked all around you.
At the end of everyday
Break down the walls you built
otherwise after a while
youll spend the rest of your life
knocking down 50 walls which have totaled 1.
Dont let fear rule your heart
for fear paralyzes a beautiful soul with dreams
Dreams come true.
Remember that you are just one of many
people here on earth.
But you are just as important as anyone else
Live a life you love to live...
and when things get to much
Think about the things that matter in life
the things you will never forget
The little things people mistake for "nothing"
and just breathe.

Demon... amazing. You're right, it's not one of your typical writes, so inspirational. Kind of reminds me of one of those emails I get from a friend every now and again telling me to embrace life. I think I'm going to send this to everyone in my address book so, a few weeks or months from now if you get a piece of chain mail... it just may be yours. Truely FANTASTIC and so true!

Excellent write.
