Could life be so stupid
Could life never happen
Could like be so unreal
Pain is life
Life is hurt
everywhere you turn your
head pain always seems to find you.
Could life be so stupid
Could life never happen
Can my life ever end
so I won't have to put
up with all this pain anymore.
Could god just want to punish
me for everything bad that I have done.
Could god just not want to be
there for me at all when I really
need him the most.
Could life ever end.

There's a short story called 'The Jilting of Granny Witherall' by Katherine Ann Porter that I would reccomend for the author of this poem to read. I think you'd enjoy it.
