Colorblind, you and I, contrast like, the sun and sky,
open eyes, color faded, and suddenly, nothing is jaded,
paint back pictures, with only grey, the colors were never real, anyway,
simply another reason, for people to hate, to fear whats different, and be afraid,
fear no more, were all the same, empty and grey, burning with shame,
diversity, was beautiful...
You threw it all away

Thankyou for posting this. It angers me so much when people hurt others, both physically and emotionally, because of their race/religion/colour. As I live in a tourist clad town, I see many different people, and as far as I am concerned, they are all beautiful. |
