Sitting wearily in Augustine thought, I peer endlessly into the vast abyss, Of the felonious winter's cold blue wind, Dubiously entreating the soft return of spring. Come spring, with your flowering hyacinths, your quickening meadows, and your furrowed, Gardens. Come, and bring again the rending warmth, Of the parturient sun. O spring, delay no longer the hushed silence, Of your storied comming, which awakens all, That breathe the blessed air, filled with the quiet laughter and sighing reveries of your, Felicitious rumor. Yes,spring,----come and quell the cursed grip of the frigid winter as you watch your, Humble seed mature into the glorious, Solidity of summer.

Ahh....reminds me of how much my country misses out on, weather-wise. Beautiful write, it reminds me of Shakespeare's Sonnet 18. |
