A cloudy sky
is clouding my
ability to breathe.
So leave me now,

how?
please...
We inhale scarlet fog,
in hail, cry to God,
don't leave me now...
you've left me...
How?
Now I'm broken, scraping
to the bone,
you've flown,
I've spoken...
Take me now...
Take me now...
But only silence hears my call...
In lonely silence,
here I fall...

Impressive . . .
I just love the lilting rhyme in this poem. I could murmur it aloud, smile, and do so again and again and again before I got tired of it. Poignant, powerful, and topped off with a gentle, easily meandering meter that just SOUNDS nice. Mmmm, I really like this one . . .
