How can you look at me And say the things you do, And actually believe That I would still love you?
I'm really not that stupid, I'm really not that dumb, Yet every time I think of you My body just goes numb.
You've put me through so much; So much more than I can bear; So why then am I acting Like I really couldn't care?
It's not fair that you can do this, It's not fair that you can make All of these emotions come And cause my heart to break.
How can I let you look at me And say the things you do, And still allow myself to fall So deep in love with you?
