A Moonlit Night

Rain clouds form a blanket, Across the night sky, Across the moon, But where the cloud happens to break, The glint of silver is reflected, And shines through the leaves, Of inseperable tree tops.
The reflected metallic rays of light, Scattered across the forest floor, And tiny forest animals scutter, Down into thier burrows, Up into thier trees, The forest now deserted.
A hum of whispers, Lift into the night mist, A single beam of gold light, Streaks across the forest floor, Circles a nearby oak, And disappears.
This shooting-star-like appearance, Is followed by a swarm of twinkling specs, Circling the great oak, A spiral of rising beauty, And settling in the leaves, Now silence.
These lights twinkle, As the moons light is reflected, Off hundereds of fluttering wings, Dew stained, delicately framed, Each pair unique, Each set of pearly wings, Belonging to an angelic fae.
Each fae with a flower garland, Placed lovingly on thier flowing locks, Eyes so wide, bright, deep, Sparkling pastel gowns, Trimmed with delicate moonlight, Bare legs hanging over branches.
Golden harps and mysterious instruments, Sends an adorable murmer into the night, Accompanied by an echo-like chorus, Played long into the night, The forest on a moonlit night, Most desireable.
