Dead
My heart continues to beat steadily, But it no longer serves it original purpose.
My blows flows through my life-less body, Like the oil in the engine, Of the car I'm driving through the rain tonight.
My eyes fixed upon the distance, As if I may never see it again.
I close my eyes, No longer do I live in fear. Death doesn't scare me anymore, It's the only thing that can rid me, Rid me of the pain I feel inside my body, my veins.
I want nothing more than to leave this world, The world of pain and starvation behind, And spend eternity with you, where ever you are. Can you hear me??

Wow, that was just beautiful. I loved the last line, I can really feel the longing in it. What a masterpiece. |

Great, i love the way that this moves, progressing and dragging the reader, me, in, and there are countless times when i have felt the same. Good Job. |
