Goodbye to all
my time here has been a waste
my words cannot stand up to the
younger ones who are down and
reach so many that I cannot.
Their words so angry, but I am
angry too but for a life that I was
cheated out of.
I am not whining though,
I know the way to peace.
I only wish I had made this decision
long ago.
Thanks to all to listening to my ramblings
that those who profess to love me
will not even ackknowledge.

| Everyone is angry at some point or another and most of the time, not every one is listened to. But there is always someone, somewhere who knows what you are going through, and who will listen to what you have to say. Poetry has always been MY outlet, although no one has ever read them, but it is still the best way I know of.. GOOD JOB. |

Well, poetry is an expression of self and in this piece you have expressed yourself powerfully and dramatically.
When I first started writing I used to compare myself to others until someone told me "life shouldn't be a competition".
I thought about it and then realised.......neither should writing poetry be!!
