Resignation

Contributed by SensitiveSoabused on Monday, 9th February 2004 @ 08:57:04 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Your voice resonates,
it percolates,

Black Coffee
through my mind...

and how I find --

I've lost my way
the cost to
pay

...inundates...

Now my shirt is stained;
my crimson tears,
my hair is torn,
I've fled...

Running from myself, my head,
I'm always close behind...

Now how I find

I've lost my way
The cost to
pay

...decimates...

So shaking, still,
I laugh at me,

Insanity will bind.

Whoa, as usual. I'm getting rather tired of saying "whoa" and "wow" on poems here --I find myself saying or thinkiing such on yours kind of a lot-- so someone remind me to get a new one . . . okay, got it. Now I'll start this over:

Heavens to Betsy! *cough* Erm, yeah . . . well, anyway, very nice job on this one (nice is another word I need a better term for . . . ). Ever line is just threaded with emotion and power; definitely a pleasure to read. Glad I found it.

I ever tell you how jealous I am of your writing ability? If not, consider it said.

O_O That was kick ass cool. Do you put your poetry to music? Because I think it would sound really good.
