My heart is broken
I can no longer pretend
Harsh words were spoken
Ive disappointed you again
Over this, I had no control
But that doesnt matter
It still took its toll
Again our hearts shatter
Will I ever get it right?
Do you want me to try?
Please dont take flight
From me, please dont shy
I just want you to be happy
With me, can you be?
Ive only made your life dreary
And hope, hard to see
For improvement, Im hoping
Though its hard for me
With life, Im coping
Knowing hows the key
The key, I dont yet have
Im looking desperately
At least Im on the right path
Will we last through my discovery?
