Look inside.... The floor covered in rose petals A trail of passion As the smell of them crushing beneath my feet rises To meet my nose
The bed... Layered in silk Waiting to be unfolded by steady hands
The dresser... With a single rose lying on its wooden Surface Merely lying, the petals, leaves, and the THORNS Something so soft and beautiful in the pale glow of the Moonlight With something so sharp it could cut, tear Draw blood Stain your hands the color of its fleshy petals Scarlet veiling white Pain overshadowing happiness
