I've almost made it
just over here
the place I've been longing for
for so many years
my only real refuge
home
I've almost made it home
and yet
I'm here
but it wasn't what i remember
maybe
i took a wrong road
this cannot be my home
because.... it just
it isn't what I left behind
my place is not what it used to be
what I've been searching for
what I've missed so much
and I ask myself ....
where do I go now?

Wow! I can relate. Time to adjust your perspective. I've had a big jolt in the last year or so, and my future isn't what I thought it would be either. At first, I was devastated and angry, but as time goes by, I see that this really is better, and now I'm looking forward to embracing every moment. Hang in there. The journey isn't over yet.
