My Valentine

Topic: LovePoetry

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My Valentine
Cupid took aim at my heart
Several years ago
Drew back with perfect time
Let his arrow go
The arrow he shot
Was not designed to kill
But to encourage my heart
Toward loves will
From the moment I saw you
The moment your eyes met mine
I knew our love was meant
Ordered by the divine
My heart has found its rest
Its meaning in your love
Has understood the cooings
Of the sweet mourning dove
Im lost in your gentle voice
The delicate caressing of your hands
The way your eyes plead
The way mine understands
I am naught but a man
Whose pitiful writing tries
But falls woefully short
Of the adoration my heart cries
Russ
NO way, Russ!!!
"I am naught but a man
Whose pitiful writing tries
But falls woefully short
Of the adoration my heart cries"
You never fall short....
Happy Valentine's day to you and yours...
Hugs
