put down my knife
close my mouth
unshoulder the burdens
that i've grown so attached to
throw my white flag
into the pit of my dreams
and when "they" finally
break down the wall
and try to steal my dreams
they'll know what i have done
walk away from everything
don't wave goodbye
and don't look back
stroll into
the Fields of Madness
a wasteland of white tile
to contrast the endless blood stains
left by the casualties
find a clean spot
sit down and cry
got to get it out
before i die
can't let go of life
with so much still inside
watch the world wither
through my tears
watch the world end
as i cry on for years
watch it all disappear
as the tears still fall
when they finally stop
i will end it all
the left wrist is cut
and i can hear it sigh
a sigh of gratitude
a sigh of happiness
the sigh of a soul
that is ready to go
the right wrist is cut
i can hear my heartbeat in my head
pumping rapidly
to fill the veins
that give so freely
my throat is cut
and the tile around me goes red
the Fields of Madness
one last time are fed
on my chest
i carve a message
to a world that is already dead
"i give up, i surrender
just like i always do
i can't go on existing
simply to fight you
this is all i will ever amount to
this is all i will ever be
i'm sick and tired of being Nothing
now i'm ready to be free"

this was so intense man. The sadness in this was almost unbearable. I'm blown away man. I loved the imagery of u strolling into the 'Fields of Madness'. That was just whacked just going into something so terrible on yer own free will. Ne way I'll shut up.
