As the beast approached
the shadow of darkness
It tore away my soul
replacing it with emptiness
The thing floated over me
watching at my eyes
took them clean away
drying up all of my cries
Holding onto my heart
the devil tossed me into hell
twisting and toturing
my soul I did not sell
Voices came through my ears
tormenting my youthful mind
trying to shut it close
leaving the echo's far behind
Silence comes to all
evil surrrounding the air
the influence of the shadow
does anyone really care
