Cigarettes and heartbreak
Fuel the pain that always was
Ash that flies in my face
The drink escapes me as it always does
Swallow the problems different
Kill the sorrow with the drink
Smoke in my eyes and smiling
Surrounded by hatred and I sink
Walk down to the graveyard
Bury me to my knees
A few of us could never disappear
But no one ever sees
You've said we've had enough
In the shadows where my head hangs low
I whisper feelings onto ignorant ears
And it's late but I still won't go
Fighting back the tears
Slam the radio into the ashen ground
Forget that stupid song
Forget that stupid sound
Voices as the wind blows
And the smoke that fills the room
Swallow all my problems
Company kept with a full moon
The air waves are filling
I'm drowning in the cup
I've got 'til tomorrow
Fill me back up
You never could be joking
I smile as I turn away
I'll blow this smoke in your beautiful eyes
I'll forget you some other day
