Two sides,
clawing and scratching
for control,
and I'm caught in the middle.
I can't choose sides,
but they don't understand.
It's always and ultimatum,
and I can't take it anymore!
I feel like my world
is falling apart
around me.
My heart won't stop pounding,
my hands won't stop shaking,
and I don't know
if this will be the day
when I lose my mind.
I can't think straight,
don't think I know
how to think straight
anymore.
I want to stop hurting!
I want this to end!
I don't care what happens,
I just want it to end.
It don't care what happens,
I just want it to end.
It doesn't matter
what happens
anymore.
I just want peace,
is that too much
to ask for?
I just want
to be able to
go to sleep at night
knowing that I'll have
a life to wake up to
the next morning.
I'm fighting a losing battle,
but I just don't care anymore.
But this is one request
that won't be honoured,
I'm sure of it.
So now,
all I can do
is just sit here
and wait for the pain
to come.
Until it ends...

Oh I loved the style of the poem! It shows frustration hoplessness and is restless as well just like the protagonist. Great write!
