There's one thing I want to know before I start
If I gave it to you, could I trust you with my heart

Could you hold it gently and promise not to break it?
Promise you'll love me always because I know I can't replace it

Would you care what other people think and be afraid to hold my hand?
Would it matter who I was or would you understand?

There are so many questions running throught my mind
Most of them you can't answer, but some you can try

When I can't sleep and think of you at night
Always wanting to cry and hoping we never fight

You're my anchor throught a storm
You're my love in every form

Without you I'm not complete or whole
And I try to take it slow but my heart is in control
