lost the passion
for words
robbing graves
for forced inspiration
throw myself into depths
depression
to perfect my art
reckless abandonment
an angel with black wings
pray for inner turmoil
look for security
hope for pain
a scholar of heartache
fallen from grace
wanting to be remembered
a flame burning
only to extinguish himself
an apprentice to suicide
forever the talented hack
thirsting to be recognized
