Dreamed of You

Contributed by Aaralyn on Saturday, 14th February 2004 @ 03:35:17 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

At this time in my life
I felt so insecure
Then I stumbled upon something great
The friendship that is yours.

You have a way to make me happy
To make me feel loved and proud.
I no longer feel like I'm screaming
In a heartless crowd.

You are the heart inside the crowd
That took me by the hand.
You listened whan I needed to talk
And took the time to understand.

You are a friend I've searched for
For what seem like a lifetime
I feel a connection of our souls
If I lost you now I'd lose my mind.

I've dreamed of having a friend like you
I never thought it would come true
But when I saw you face and heard you name
I knew that it was you.

I saw you in my dreams
I've had the same one many times
You presense and voice are so calming to me
I realize now it's because in my dream you were and angel of mine.

Now I've got you in real life
Now that you're my friend
I'll never leave from by your side
Until the very end.
