Planes out of control
Terrorist in mid-air
Masked with fury
Pleads were not heard
Pleads were not met
Screams spread like wildfire
Zooming
Streaking
Explosions
Collisions
One right after the other
Glass shatters
Twin towers shake,rock and fall
Crumbling deeper,deep
Into the newly opened ground
Clouds of blackness
Take place of day
Several people
Were fortunate enough to run and live
While many were not as lucky
This was a day of mourning
A day of sudden grief
Pain,weeping,agony,despair,and death
Children...lost mother's
Father's ...lost wives
Neighbors....lost friend's
Sister's .....lost brother's
At a moment
When there wasn't time
To say good-bye
Sept 11th
If only it was just a dream
One horrible dream
