Rhythm of my life

--------________-----------

I never wanted, what I never needed
I never lost, cause I never succeeded
Never in my head, It is all in my mind
Never to be untied, cause I was never in a bind

I never took the time
To ever wonder why
Life goes on
Even after we are gone.

I am sitting by the light
I have to decide should I fight
Inside this glow is the darkness I find
I am never in front, but never behind

So Tell me, I wonder if everything is going to be alright
Will I survive, and save this night
Well this is anemic, I am feeling so down
I feel like the man who wanders about town.

I am mad at all the excuses, they are getting old
I am tired of the world acting so cold
I am tired of the serenity I can never see
I am tired of the tired side of me

I am not afraid
Afraid of this life I made
I never won, cause the game was never started
I was never here, so I guess I never departed

I thought I would say something important
My words to me are dorment
I thought I had something interesting to say
Instead I wasted my time today

I am taking shots of fear in an empty glass
And I am lost again, but I am here atlast
Searching through the invisible haze
Cant seem to make my own way

Broken hearted inside this protective shield
Empty tears fall on glasses half filled
Blinded by my serene sanctity
Confused yet? Your the one talking to me.

MaJ

Interesting write, I was pulled in from the first line (the first verse is excellent, by the way!). I'm not sure if I fully understand this but I can feel your frustration. Kudos.
