My Words

Contributed by Wesley_Dale_Willis on Sunday, 15th February 2004 @ 11:21:04 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

My words,
Without your eyes,
Lay a closed dormer,
Facing heaven,
With thoughts,
Chained from knowledge,
Subdued from imagination,
My words,
Like a small machine,
Intricately working together,
A different perception,
To some, blinded perception,
Perceived not,
My words,
Exist not,
With no readers,
My words,
Are not conceived,
Without your eyes, or ears,
My words, in miscarriage.

P.S. to my previous comment...I realize this isn't really a haiku...because of content...but anyway:
words of praises go
up-lifting the spirit
let the comments flow

Your poem is well constructed and mature
---------------------------------------
Musicians who are deaf compose,
They write their music..do you suppose
They give a fig if people hear
They cannot write...there only fear

Your words don't die if no one reads
they miss from life..your magic seeds,
Too bad the fools intakes were low
and TV was their fare to go..

Very well written, Wes. Without a reader our work is useless. As writers we all depend on the probing minds and their willingness to explore their world through words. Great write.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as the old saying goes. .................
A clever artfull presentation well written .
I add my congratulatons to the others.

Beauty not beholden
cannot shine golden
though fine an inception
lacking reception
is not conceived
until received.

or have I completely missed the point. I'm going to enjoy working my way down your list. Thanks for inviting me.

BRAVO!BRAVO!BRAVO!
Wes, my poet friend.
This poem has no end
For words are passed along
Like a tune in a song.......

But if they are not read........
the poet need not think he's default
for they are extensions of his heart
and read or not....of him a part!
Splendid in deed!
Thanking you so much for coming to read
mine.......
Keep up the good word
lovingcritters
