Adam and I
like brothers now:
Removed from the Garden,
paradise left behind,
Wand?ring this world
lonely, broken.
Both left to start again
seeking love unfolding.
After she left
my walls collapsed.
My heart was left open,
Bleeding; she walks away
Every day was spent
Wishing, praying,
Hoping, dreaming, waiting,
For her love but in vain.
I shall linger,
Forever loveless.
Ev?ry night I?m
Drinking, thinking;
Slipping into a dark,
Universe parallel;
Seeking meaning
To our cruel world.
And I look for answers
To questions without;
But never happy
With what I find.
Alas, its now too late
No one can help me now.
This is the end,
I?m going home;
Ash to ash, dust to dust
Finally returning
To my waiting
Mother, the Earth.
