Losing Faith

Contributed by forever_lonely on Monday, 16th February 2004 @ 07:58:55 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Im losing all faith, in everything i am
All day i hear so much, hatred towards us
Towards everything that make me me
I hear it all day, because I am a man

Cheating and lying, am i doomed to do?
Cause this i am told, by those close to me
Thinking with manhood, is that all i see
Is it my fault, i cant open to you?

Even music these days, shows so much hatred
Each line a new rhyme, Towards all that is me
These words make me think, make me ponder and pass
Its innate that we suck, that a****es we be

I cant see anyway that every women is wrong
I might as well drop dead where i stand
They all must be right, a pig I must be
I guess its ok, to lose all faith within me

You are who you are as a singular person Luke. You are not accountable for the actions of other males. Well at least there is one minute thing to be thankful for at least you'll never have to deal with pms. Life can be a rosy view (so I am told) depending on how you choose to look upon it. Regardless this was a thought provoking write. You are great as you are, never forget that! Kie

Since you know that there can be that prejudice out there against guys, and since you also realize why, it seems to me that you couldnt be "doomed" and thats definately a good thing.
