Men and women all so brave
Blessing us all with all they gave
They say it's their moral obligation
I say it's for the love of their nation.
Our servicemen and women
In one form or another our partilineal kin
All prove to be so gallant
As if they were born with this talent
In them and my country I take great pride
My heart deeply aches for the ones who did die
They gave their lives to keep mine free
And that means more than anything to me
My tears continue to just keep falling
It's not something I'm capable of forestalling
My tears do not show my weakness
Instead a love I choose to profess
Now in honor of them all
Since they've kept me so enthraled
I'm sending them my love
For doing what is to me undreamed of
God bless you all in this great nation
Because of you we hold this celebration
Your service gives us all our liberty
I thank you for your loyalty
The banner is now unfurled
For the greatest people of the world
Those that proudly serve the USA
I feel so safe with you watching out for me today
Blessings and love and happiness
Be yours the whole year through
Because I've been blessed and happy
All because of you.
