his gnarled hands
and beat up face
a life he lives
with no faith
he cannot hold on anymore
he's already walked through that door
every morning
when he wakes
he cuts himself
to make sure
the bloods not fake
writes about it
in a book he made
well he's gonna live today
silly thoughts
run through his head
about a world
thats already dead
and all along
its just a dream
of life and death
such silly things
and when you die
you just wake up
and on and on
it repeats
like the music
and its beats
but those thoughts
are just simple things

| I really liked this poem. After reading it a second time I like it even more. Excellent. It's so much you can read into this poem. It has a deeper level of understanding. I really enjoyed it very much. Wonderfully written. Keep up the good. work. Well, have a nice day :) |
