OH MY DARLING ANGEL.

Contributed by bhavnas on Wednesday, 18th February 2004 @ 02:58:57 AM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

Writhing in pain yet smiling all the while ,
Relegated to bed yet showing the world in our eyes .
You are my angel ,you are my guide ,
My mentor ,how your tears you hide.

Pain , anguish ,hell you undergo ,
Yet to us life you bestow .
Your smiles you smile
To fool us all the time
That’s all well with you ,the pain is so sublime.

Epitome of grace , body so beautiful
That you had once ,
You feel what is left is not even chunks .
But don’t u forget ma ,
Oh! you forgetful soul ,
In your youth with so much beauty you were bestowed ,
And now in ripeness your inner beauty glows .
Lucky are those who in all ages are so endowed.

Your love strengthens your body feeble
Do you know how it gives us so much vigour?
You fill us with the potion of life ,
Oh my darling angel you taught me the skill to survive.

What a beautiful tribute to your Mother. Mothers are the guiding light in our lives here on earth. My mother is still with me and relatively healthy. It is so hard to watch a parent or someone you love so much suffer. Be strong for her and continue to tell her you love her as long as you can. You will have beautiful memories of her forever.

Hugs,
Rita
