i stare at this sweet soft morsel and it stares straight back at me i should look away but im not gonna my ravenous mouth waters at the thought so satisfying my eyes can no longer stand this staring contest my hands swipe my mouth cheers rolling it around my tongue i savor every last drop as it melts away and slips down my throat down deep into the bowels of my soul into the giant caverns and there instead of filling the emptiness it only continues to erode away at the crumbling walls i double over and fall tearing at my chest cursing myself for not looking away
maybe then I would have seen You trying to warn me

Interesting write..... temptations indeed...
reading between the lines, one always has those wonderful delicious morsels everywhere, families, friends, marriage... always there...... now just having the power to say no...
