Up and down, down and up
From right to left, left to right
People saying just give up
Without trying to fight
Is it okay to express what's deep inside my heart?
To say who I think is really nice
The more we are together the more I see that we're drifting apart
First it started arguing advice
I love you sorry if it comes as a shock
But what I feel for you is true
Please don't attempt to block
My visions see a perfect picture of you and me
The more I reveal the more you tear and torment my soul
If that's punishment and torture, I should've let you go
One day hopefully my heart will be back whole.
Feelings, aw feelings, if only I never let you know
First came talking
Then came flirting
There you go walking
And now I'm hurting
Why don't you just grab a knife and go ahead and stab
While your kissing someone else
But the love's just too hard to grab
If only I was the type to sit and watch from the shelf
Love, it's nothing but a four-letter word
Or maybe 3 if it's L-U-V
For all I care it can fly away with birds
But all I see is that you're not with me.
