Mythical Dreams III - Gargoyle Watch

the gargoyles sit upon their
perch staring down at the
procession of people all entranced
walking aimlessly not seeing
not caring just moving their
large eyes glowing in the dark
their continual downward stares
make you feel they are counting
all the lost souls who will pass
beneath theyre twin towers of death

i awake once more this time i dont
want to know what the gargoyles have
to say i know death lurkes around the
corner it aways does but as much as i
try to ignore they refuse to let that
be its message of death to me is strong
and i sadly have to accept its message
