Where were u when I needed you the most

Contributed by lil_angel_eyes on Tuesday, 10th September 2002 @ 06:38:51 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

I never thought I would see the day
When my friend would turn and walk away
I don't even know my friend anymore
Since that day she walked out the door
Sometimes I feel she didn't really care
And to be my friend wasnt why she was there
Would a friend stab you when your down and low
Making you feel that your own life should go
Would a friend hurt you everday that you live
Wouldn't a friend always have friendship to give
Maybe in most cases but definatly not mine
All she ever did to me was make herself shine
Now that im lost and know im alone on this day
Hoping this friend would somehow turn and say
Im sorry mate for what I have done and said
Im sorry mate that I screwed up your head
And I would say I hope before our life will end
That I love you enough to forgive you my frined
But before I do theres something I need to know
When I needed you most where did you go????

I liked this...friendship can be great one moment and not so great the next...just the ups and downs of life I guess...
