The nightmares that haunt my dreams
They attack me as I close my eyes
Laying in my bed crying on the inside
Not showing
My tears
My pain
The hurt
As I lay in the dark they attack me
I fear them for they turn my heart black
And my skin thick
I cannot escape them
Each time my eyes close and mind wonder
They come to me
Tearing, pulling, hurting me
I run to escape, fall
But they come with me
Even in the light they haunt me fallowing me
In the back of my head slowly moving forward
All I can think about, see
Is the nightmares
They haunt me as I lay silent
And still in the nights
