Making Love to the Darkness

Contributed by ThePunkPoet on Tuesday, 24th February 2004 @ 01:26:00 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

The darkness sweet and pleasant taking me in her sweet grasp. The gray clouds sparkling in the midnight sky her hair. Some consider her evil and spiteful so why is it I see her beauty? To most the earth before them is nothing but just that, earth. But to me, I see a bed of downy. The woods with all its fallen trees and branches; normally the mean nothing but firewood but to me I see a grand palace waiting to be naturally assembled. Water. The life giver, supporter, purifying cleanser.

Rocks are excellent seats as well as wall supports. Everything we need lay before us. There is no need to destroy when the creator has given you all the materials needed. Nature gives its life to support ours yet we continue to devastate the living simply because they are plants and not humans. The night with her one all-seeing eye weeps every so often. The snow, her tears frozen by the cold hearts of humanity. Her beauty blackened by the hatred she has absorbed and the sadness she has endured.

I have seen her beauty; I have known her. There are many things that I myself know of. The simplicity of heartbreak, the bittersweet taste of revenge against all who have wronged you. I have drank of the nectar. I have indulged in the ecstasy of pain and surviving to feel it again. The warmth of the hatred burning inside. I have tasted evil, I have felt it slither down my throat, turn my stomach, coat my insides and crawl under my skin

and I liked it.
