Morning marveled swirling hues of color
Salty sands rested upon a stretch of sea
Their fusion creating sparks of diamonds
Adorning paths of mountain majesty
The foundation of beauty
Beckoning all to come see
Someday I might visit this beauty
Barefoot on its jewels of warmth
Inhale seas salted scent
Walk towards the base of heaven
Climb a step or two
Just to be nearer to Him
When I venture back to thee
That house on a street in our town
Remembering a gift of serenity
I was chosen and graced to walk upon
A new foundation I hope to build
Dreaming that you will share it with me
May forgiveness be the strength of our union
For endless love promised an oath
On bended knee
