the cyclops stands at the
entrance of his cave daring
anyone to chance entering
his abode his single eye in
the center of his head looks
in my direction menacingly i
dare not take the chance but
i stand and stare helplessly
as my mother stands in the
entranceway and i feel the
need to somehow save her
i awake from my mythical dream
with the need to analyze this
dream i need to know what the
cyclops stands for could it be
our singlemindeness to find the
cure for alzheimers which would
explain my desire to save my mom
