Upon the rock the waters crashed
And my tired soul they bashed
The troubles come from all around
And I seem to always lose my ground
And just as I begin to fall
I realize youve been here through it all
You are here to save me Lord
My pain you have not ignored
And often times I get so busy
And when life gets me so dizzy
I forget to stop awhile
And thank you Lord, for your smile
That lifts me up when I am sad
Lord you are truly the best friend I ever had!!
