I am but a shell of who I use to be
For when you died you took a piece of me
And I try to live with out you
But some days Im just so blue
How can I move on?
Since you are gone
These dreams keep haunting me
That you are alive and from the cancer you are free
But I know you are in heaven
With all your loved ones---all your brethren
I find comfort in Gods grace
To know you are in his place
Yet I can still feel you still hear your sound
In the stillness when no one else is around

That was a really nice poem !I'm sure your grandma is by your side,through good and bad,taking care of you.You'll see,it gets easier with time,and talking from personnal experience,you'll only get closer to her,since now you're communicating soul to soul,and nothing is greater than that,for a soul never dies.God bless you and your grandmother,

| This brought tears to my eyes. I loved my grandmother more than I have ever loved anyone. When she died it took a long time for me to smile again. I wrote her many poems, found her in every song and in time I realized she left me with precious memories so now I do my best to smile. I know it hurts and it hurts bad but your grandmother would be proud of you for writing such a loving tribute to her. She sounds like a special woman, no one will ever replace her but in time it will ease. Wonderful poem. Kie |
