Rememories

Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Its been so long since Ive sat and thought about how much I miss you. Its been too long since weve talked and seen each others face too. My best friend so far awaya distance spanning miles. My life unfulfilled without your laughter and long, broad, happy smiles. Times back then were rough, but they were easier to take when I had someone beside me to help ease my heartbreak. Im not a good enough friend to you, not like one that you deserve. You deserve a friend thats there for you and not consumed in her bulging curves. Like a letter wrapped in secrets, no time to tell it all, I hide my life behind close doors so no one will know when I fall. I miss you so much and everyone else, we were all just so, so close, but the things that made us laugh are the things I miss the most. Forget miles and time, why cant friends just be? Why do I always have to feel that you are too far away to help me? You need help too, youre still standing despite circumstances but I just dont feel our deep connection when we cant even share glances. Plays, and shows, guys and school, other friends and fights, get in the way of our friendship and fight to share in times spotlight. Christmas passes, birthdays too and theres nothing we can change. The miles between the roots we share and a common feeling that were becoming too strange. I miss my Kelly Belly, my friend until the end. I wish that you were here with me with each letter I dont send. One day well meet, its meant to happen at a common time and place. For the sister love and pain weve shared cannot be erased.
